The Cognito Project - is driven by the belief that knowledge, when creatively managed and disseminated, can change our world for the better.
We are a social enterprise that uses creative communication strategies, knowledge management, capacity building and technology to address critical development issues, amplify the impact of development programmes, highlight innovative learnings and use these learnings for improved future programming towards improving the wellbeing of target populations.
Cognito’s expertise spans over social marketing, social change, visual communication, information design, information technology, social media, capacity building and communication for development.
We are driven, innovative and we have experience working with a variety of stakeholders within and outside Nigeria.
What we do…
Knowledge Management
We partner with organizations to facilitate the process of collecting, curating and managing knowledge and connecting people to it so they can learn from it and act more effectively.
Visual Communication
We believe that when information is presented visually, its potential to create desired change is greatly enhanced. Working collaboratively to present information, learnings and stories, through visuals, is one thing we are truly passionate about.
Information Design
Program success relies heavily on clear communication and shared understanding. How information is shared among stakeholders is critical - data visualizations, infographics, optimized program reports, engaging PowerPoint slides - these and more can make a big difference.
Capacity Building
Capacity building enables individuals and organizations to develop competencies and skills that can make them more effective and make projects sustainable, thus increasing the potential to enrich lives and solve society’s most intractable problems.
